Maryam (@mrym@) — Mary, mother of the prophet Jesus

Maryam is the Arabic name of Mary, mother of the prophet Jesus (ʿĪsá), daughter of Imran.

Mary is the only female identified by name in the Qurʾān, and her name appears X times in the Qurʾān (compared to Y times in the entire Bible)

Chapter 19 of the Qurʾān is named after her.

Mary is celebrated as an example for the believers because of her chastity, obedience, and faith.

Regarding Lady Maryam, there are stories concerning her piety - not only did she demonstrate courage and faith in her response to the fact that she was to be the virgin mother of a major Prophet, she also experienced the miracle of Heavenly provided food.
